| The history of Mechanical Engineering Faculty |
Since the establishment of Noshirvani Faculty of Engineering in Babol in 1973, the Mechanical Engineering Department was introduced as one of the main groups of Faculty of Engineering.
Since the independency of the University from University of Mazandaran in 2005, the Division of Mechanical Engineering was upgraded to the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Since then, the deans of the Faculty were as follows:

At present, the faculty members include 32 permanent staff (7 professors, 12 associate professors, 12 assistant professors and 1 lecturers).The school enjoys four main educational areas, namely manufacturing, heat and fluid mechanics, solid mechanics and maritime.
